This peach mousse is light, creamy, and full of sunny summer flavor. It comes together with simple ingredients and makes a lovely make-ahead dessert for warm days, family meals, or when you want something sweet without feeling too heavy.

  • Wash, peel, and chop fresh peaches, or drain canned peaches well. Blend them until smooth, then taste and adjust with a little lemon juice if needed.
  • In a bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and alcohol-free vanilla until smooth and fluffy. Add the peach puree and mix until fully combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. This helps create the airy mousse texture.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the peach mixture in two or three additions. Take your time here so the mousse stays light and fluffy.
  • Spoon the mousse into serving glasses or a larger dish. Chill for at least 2 to 4 hours, or until nicely set and cold.

Notes

Store peach mousse covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. This dessert is not meant to be reheated. If it firms up too much in the fridge, let it sit at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
