Servings 6 eggs

Equipment

  • 1 Saucepan
  • 1 Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Spoon or piping bag

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp chives finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp dill pickle finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tbsp turkey bacon finely chopped, cooked crisp
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • smoked paprika for garnish

Instructions

  • Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water. Bring the water to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat and cook until the eggs are fully set.
  • Transfer the eggs to an ice bath or run them under cold water until they are easy to handle. Peel the shells carefully and slice each egg in half lengthwise.
  • Scoop out the yolks into a bowl. Mash them with mayonnaise, mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Stir in the chives, dill pickle, shredded cheddar, and turkey bacon.
  • Spoon or pipe the filling back into the egg white halves. Make sure each one is generously filled for that loaded look and taste.
  • Finish with a light sprinkle of smoked paprika and a few extra herbs if you like. Chill until ready to serve, or enjoy right away.

Notes

Store leftover loaded deviled eggs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. For the best texture, keep them covered and chilled until serving.
These eggs are best served cold, so reheating is not recommended. If needed, you can refresh them with a light extra sprinkle of paprika right before serving.
