If you want a cozy dessert that feels homemade with very little effort, this easy peach cobbler with cake mix and canned peaches is such a lovely choice. It bakes into a bubbly, golden treat with tender peaches underneath and a buttery cake topping on top.

  • 1 Baking Dish 9x13-inch

Ingredients
  

  • 2 (15-ounce) cans sliced peaches with juice or light syrup
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 /2 cup unsalted butter melted or thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon optional
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar optional
  • 1 tsp alcohol-free vanilla optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Pour the canned peaches, along with some of their juice, into the dish. If desired, stir in cinnamon, brown sugar, or alcohol-free vanilla.
  • Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the peaches.
  • Drizzle the melted butter over the top, or place thin butter slices across the cake mix.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the peach filling is bubbling around the edges. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat individual portions in the microwave or warm the baking dish in a low oven until heated through.
