Equipment

  • 1 Baking Sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased rack
  • 3 Mixing Bowls for flour, eggs, and breadcrumb mixture
  • 1 Wire rack optional, for extra crisping

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a lightly greased rack.
  • Place the flour in one bowl, the beaten eggs in another, and the breadcrumbs mixed with seasonings in a third.
  • Dip each chicken strip into the flour, then the egg, then the breadcrumb mixture. Press gently so the coating sticks well on all sides.
  • Place the coated tenders on the prepared pan, leaving space between each piece. Lightly drizzle or brush with oil, then bake until golden and cooked through.
  • Let the tenders rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer for the best texture. Avoid microwaving if possible, since it softens the coating.
