Banana Pudding Cups
These creamy no-bake banana pudding cups are the kind of easy dessert I love making when I want something comforting without turning on the oven. They come together fast, taste nostalgic, and look so pretty layered in little cups for sharing.

Cuisine American
- 4 ripe bananas
- 1 package vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 1 cup vanilla wafers
- 0.5 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tbsp butter optional
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice optional
Whisk the pudding mix with cold milk until smooth and thick. Let it sit for a few minutes so it starts to set.
Stir in the sweetened condensed milk, then gently fold in the whipped topping until everything looks light and fluffy.
Peel and slice the bananas just before assembling. If you like, toss them very lightly with lemon juice.
Add a spoonful of pudding to each cup, then a layer of vanilla wafers and banana slices. Repeat the layers until the cups are full, finishing with pudding on top.
Cover the cups and chill them for at least 1 hour. Right before serving, add extra cookie crumbs or banana slices for a pretty finish.
Use ripe bananas with plenty of yellow and a few brown spots, they give the best flavor. Assemble close to serving time if you want the cookies to stay a little crisp. If you prefer a softer, more classic texture, chill the cups longer so the layers meld together.
Store the cups covered in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. The bananas will soften over time, so they are best enjoyed soon after assembling. This dessert does not need reheating, just serve it chilled straight from the fridge.
